William W. Lloyd Sr., 55, of Hyde Park, passed away at St. Francis Hospital in Poughkeepsie on Saturday, February 7, 2004. Born in New York City on February 12, 1948, he was the son of the late John and Ernestine Lloyd. He was also predeceased by his wife, Gail Lloyd. William was an honorably discharged member of the U.S. armed forces. He worked and traveled the world wide, until settling in Hyde Park as a Software Designer at Avon Products, Inc. William was a former karate instructor and had a love for listening to and collecting jazz music. His laughter, smiles, and dedication to his family, friends, and co-workers will be dearly missed. He is survived by 2 daughters, Lisa Smith and husband, Zane, and Shirlene Lloyd Rollins, both of Fayetteville, NC; a son, William Lloyd Jr. of Lawrenceville, GA; a step-son, Christopher Edwards of Hyde Park; grandchildren, Vanessa, Ramona, Ramone, Akeyma, Imani, and Zane II; sisters, Eunice, and Veronica, both of NY; several nieces and nephews, and a host of friends and in-laws.
