Virginia Clorinda Mannino, age 89, passed away on Friday February 18, 2022, at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, NY. Virginia was born Virginia Clara Cecchetti on September 9, 1932, in New York, New York. She was raised in the Bronx, New York where she spent many happy years. She married Julius Frank Mannino on November 25, 1958, at the Church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, Bronx, New York. In 1968 she moved with her husband Julius and three children Julienne, Gina, and Anthony to Mahopac, New York. She spent many happy years in her home making a safe, warm, and peaceful environment for her family. She remained in Mahopac until moving into the Baptist Home at Brookmeade in Rhinebeck, New York in her later years. She is predeceased by her father Duilio (Gino) Cecchetti, her mother Clara Cecchetti (Pardi), and her brother Paul Cecchetti. She is survived by her husband Julius Mannino, her children, Julienne Voll, Gina Ristaino, and Anthony Mannino as well as her grandchildren Brandon Voll, Alexander Voll, John Voll, Rachel Mannino, Michael Mannino, Anthony Ristaino and Amanda Ristaino. Virginia was a devout catholic with a kind heart who put her family's needs before her own. She enjoyed cooking and her meals were the delight of everyone. Her favorite things were spending time with her grandchildren, playing with her dogs and listening to Elvis. Virginia will be greatly missed by all who were lucky enough to have known her.
