Valerie Nassetta, 83, of Hyde Park, New York died on Friday, May 5, 2023, at Sapphire Nursing Home in Wappingers.

Born, April 15, 1940, in Colorado, she was the daughter of Frank Church and Katherine Krueger Cole.

Valerie along with her husband, Paul owned and operated PARADICE Boarding Kennels, where she also bred, and raised champion Collies.

Valerie was also well known for her wildlife rehabilitation program where she would work with raccoons, squirrels, and many other wildlife that was in need of care, nurturing, and love, in her free time she also enjoyed spending time with her friends and family,

On September 15th, 1967, in Big Bear California, she married Paul Nassetta, Paul predeceased her on June 16th, 2019.

She is survived by her daughters Vikki Nassetta of Beacon, NY, Michelle Wojtowicz (Robert) of Quitman, TX, sons Richard Nassetta of Rancho Cordova, California, and Phillip Nassetta (Jaclyn) of Middletown, CT; and seven grandchildren: Paolo, Abigail, Alexina, Rebecca, Rachel, Kaitlyn, and James.

Along with her husband, she was also predeceased by a brother Steven Cole.

Memorial calling hours will be on Thursday, May 25th from 10 to 12 noon, at Sweet's Funeral Home, Rte. 9 Hyde Park, NY 12538.

A memorial service will take place at 12 noon at the Funeral Home.

Burial of her cremains will follow in the Veterans section of Union Cemetery, Hyde Park.

Valerie's family respectfully requests memorial donations to a charity of your choice or an organization that helps with animal rehabilitation.
