Tammy D. Mahoney, 54, of Staatsburg, died on Monday, January 22, 2024, at Hudson Valley hospice house after a long and arduous battle with cancer.

Born, September 20, 1969, in Poughkeepsie, she was the daughter of the late Daniel Langdon Sr. and Carol Corbin Langdon. Her mother survives at home.

Tammy worked for Hudson Valley Credit Union as a Fraud Specialist for many years.

On Saturday, May 9, 2009, she married David Mahoney at Calvary Chapel of the Hudson Valley.

Tammy enjoyed crafting, cross stitching, needle point, and spending time with her pets.

She also loved to watch birds and the occasional squirrels that came to her bird feeders, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Along with her mother, she is survived by her husband David Mahoney, three daughters, Brittney Roe, Sierra Mahoney, and Elizabeth Pectle and husband Jacob, and grandson Sebastian DeFreitas.

She is also survived by her sister Dawn Nedin and husband Keith, and brother Daniel Langdon Jr. and wife Dee, along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Calling hours will be from 2 PM to 5 PM, on Saturday, January 27, 2024, at Sweet's Funeral Home, 4365 Albany Post Rd., Hyde Park, NY.

A prayer service will take place at 4:30 PM.

Burial in the family plot will take place at a later date.
