LaGrange - T. Phoebe Murray, 74, a longtime LaGrange resident, died Saturday, November 20, 2010 at the Marley Neck Health and Rehabilitation Center in Glen Burnie, Maryland. Mrs. Murray attended Beacon Schools and was a dental assistant for several local dental offices until her retirement. She was a member of the Beacon United Methodist Church. Her hobbies included reading and following the New York Mets. Born in Beacon on June 2, 1936, Phoebe was the daughter of the late Kenneth Sheldon and Almedia Risk Eddy. On June 12, 1982 in the Beacon United Methodist Church, she married Walter J. Murray. He predeceased her on August 22, 2007. She is survived by her daughter, Tracy Davis and husband, Michael, of Severn, MD; son, Tyler Craft and wife, Kathleen, of Hyde Park; step-daughter, Linda Sutton and husband, Steve, of Red Hook; step-son, Lonnie Murray and wife, Barbara, of Seattle, WA; six grandchildren, Lacey Murray, Timothy Sutton, Almedia and Gareth Davis, and Cameron and Dylan Craft; sister, Barbara Huneke and family of Pleasant Valley; brother, Henry Eddy and family of Florida; sister-in-law, Emily Murray and her daughter, Susan Kuehl and family, all of Iowa; and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her amazing neighbors (you know who you are). In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her granddaughter, Kaitlyn Craft; sister, Joan Ramsey; and brother-in-law, Henry Huneke. Calling hours will be from 5 to 8 pm, Friday, November 26, 2010 at Sweet's Funeral Home, Inc., Rte. 9, Hyde Park. Funeral services will be at 10 am, Saturday, November 27th at the funeral home. Rev. Eileen Freeman will officiate. Burial will follow in the family plot in St. Peter's Cemetery, Poughkeepsie.
