Steven Terry, 67, went to God Saturday morning (10/31/26) in his home. Born on March 3rd, 1959, in Harlem, he was the son of the late James Lee Terry and Elizabeth Mae (Davis) Terry.
He was a Sonar Technician during his time in the Navy, and a retired NYC Correctional Officer.
Steven Terry had a passion for the arts, having been a great writer and musician, favoring the Jazz genre.
Greater than his talents, was his love for his spouse, children, grandchildren, friends, and foremost God.
He will continue to be loved by his wife of 22 years, Selena Terry, and his kids, Elysha Marie Anderson, Lydia Marie Terry, Kayla Marie Terry, and stepdaughter Naome Rollare Mathieu.
He is missed by his grandchildren, Kalysha, Wesley, Raijon, and Kyrie.
He is remembered by hundreds of family and friends.
Steven Terry liked gardening, fixing things around the house, and taking care of his family- which includes his dog, Sugarloaf, whom he affectionately nicknamed Little Shit after her bathroom habits.
He was a man of God, and while we cry, we rejoice that he is even closer to him.
