Stanley R. Albright, 73, of Hyde Park, died on Saturday, April 1, 2023, at home after being stricken by an apparent coronary attack.

Born on January 19, 1950, in Kingston, NY, he was the son of Frank and Roberta Albright.

He proudly served in the United States Army from 1965 to 1969 attaining the rank of Sergeant. He was a demolitions expert. Stanley remained active in the National Guard for more than 16 years. He retired from the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office as a corrections officer where he worked for over 25 years.

On January 19, 1991, he married the love of his life Lynn R. Houghtaling in Hyde Park, NY.

In addition to his loving wife Lynn R. Albright, Hyde Park, NY, he is survived by a daughter, Alicia Levine, stepdaughter, Christine Plass Moshier.

Stanley is predeceased by his parents, his stepson, David Plass, his sister, Stephanie Aho and his brother, Michael Albright.

Cremation took place at Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery.  Graveside funeral services with military honors will begin at 12pm on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at Union Cemetery, Route 9G, Hyde Park, NY.
