Ruth Catherine Borkoski, 98, of Highland, New York, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 10,

2026, at Hudson Valley Rehabilitation & Extended Care Center in Highland.

Born on September 20, 1927, in Poughkeepsie, New York, she was the daughter of Claude

Adams and Helen Vielee Adams.

Ruth devoted her life to caring for others. She was known for her kindness, dedication to family,

and caring nature.

She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Francis Borkoski.

Ruth is survived by her daughter, Mary-Jo Borkoski of Raymond, NH; daughter in law, Sandi Lavoie;

and friends who will cherish her memory.

She was predeceased by her parents, Claude Adams and Helen Vielee Adams, and by her

husband, Joseph Francis Borkoski and son, Jonathan Borkoski.
