Russell D. Kelsey, 53, a lifelong area resident, died Saturday, May 10th at home. Years ago, Mr. Kelsey was a bookbinder at the former Western Publishing in Poughkeepsie. He served in the United States Army during Vietnam. Born in Poughkeepsie on February 25, 1950, he was the son of the late Russell D. Kelsey Sr. and Margaret Smith Kelsey. He was a graduate of F.D. Roosevelt High School, Hyde Park, Class of 1968. Survivors include two sons, Aaron and David Kelsey; one sister, Kathleen VanVlack and her husband, Ralph of Rhinebeck; one niece and two nephews. There are no calling hours. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family
