Ross M Hardy

January 7, 1950 - January 25, 2023

Ross died after complications from a short illness and many years of stalwart survivorship after experiencing a ruptured brain aneurysm in 2004.

A small businessman for nearly 40 years, a talented builder and restoration carpenter, a generous and steadfast husband and father.

He was an avid reader, gardener, outdoorsman, lover of good cuisine, all forms of art and design, spending time close to the water, and long drives in nice weather. He approached life with a singular combination of authenticity, seriousness, and care.

He was predeceased by his wife and partner of 48 years, Kit Rambo Hardy.

Ross is survived by his children Kate (Robin Schmidt) and Graeme (Lisa) Hardy, three grandchildren and many members of a large and vibrant extended family.

As per his wishes, there are no plans for formal services at this time.
