Our beloved Rosemarie Gaches, 81, passed away peacefully on September 17th, 2023.

Born July 10th, 1942 in NYC, she was the daughter of Rose Kolanjian and Charles Tatlian.

On June 25th, 1960 she married the true love of her life, Anastas P. Gaches.

Rose was very well known and loved in Hyde Park for her Antique business, which she had for 34 years. She had a keen eye, a great sense of humor, and a huge heart for everyone.

She is survived by her most undeniably loving and devoted husband, Stacy, her son James A. Gaches, her daughter Deborah and her partner Andre Pimienta. Her beloved grandchildren Bryce Anthony and Morgan Rose Eckwall, whom she absolutely adored. She is also survived by her nephews Eddie and Michael Tatlian, nieces Stephanie Craig and Joanna Edouard, and sister-in-law Joanne Tatlian.

Rose was predeceased by her parents Rose and Charles Tatlian, and her brothers Johnny and most recently Edward.

She was the best mother, wife, Mema, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend that anyone could wish for. She will be deeply and lovingly missed forever.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, September 21st, from 3PM to 6PM at Sweet's Funeral Home, 4365 Albany Post Rd, Hyde Park, NY 12538. Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
