Roberta Morse, 71, of Poughkeepsie, New York died on Saturday, June 29, 2024, at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie with her family by her side.

Born, September 13, 1952, in Poughkeepsie, she was the daughter of the late Chester Coons and Bertha Wright Coons. After graduating high school Roberta worked various jobs before settling at home to take care of her children.

Roberta loved to cook and can food, bake, and spend time in her garden. She also enjoyed decorating around the holidays and doing genealogy research.

She was known to never pass up a opportunity to have a good conversation and especially relished in the time she spent with her family.

On, March 21, 2007 she married Alex Ure. Mr. Ure survives at home.

Along with her husband she is survived by her two children, Dea Anne Miller and husband Russell, and Adam Morse and wife Jennifer. Two grandchildren, Jesse and Danielle Miller.

She is also survived by her two siblings Charles Wyant and Jora Lizotte, along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A Graveside Service will be at 10 AM on Saturday, July 6, 2024 at Union Cemetery of Hyde Park, 1076 Violet Ave., Hyde Park, NY. Rev. Arlene Dawber will officiate.
