Obituary for Eleanor Rogers

Eleanor Rogers, 99, of Salt Point, NY, died on Tuesday, June 26, 2018, at Northern Dutchess Hospital, Rhinebeck, New York.

Born on May 23, 1919, in Poughkeepsie, NY, she was the daughter of Frank B. and Hazel Robbins Rogers. Eleanor graduated from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY.  Prior to retirement she worked for Vassar College where she was a library assistant in Vassar College Library’s Special collections.

Survivors include a sister, Virginia Kilmer, Salt Point; nephew, Douglas Kilmer, Dallas, TX; niece, Denise William, Carrollton, TX; nephew, Brian Kilmer, Jacksonville, FL; nephew, Dean Rogers, Salt Point; and a grand-nephew, Daniel Kilmer, Jacksonville, FL, many loving cousins and her church family at Westminster Presbyterian Church.  

Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family at Salt Point Cemetery.  Eleanor's family respectfully requests memorial donations to Westminster Presbyterian Church, 1872 Salt Point Turnpike, Salt point, NY 12578 or Town of Clinton Historical Society, 2433 Salt Point Turnpike, P.O. Box 122, Clinton Corners, NY 12514.
