Neil J. Floughton, 79, of Pleasant Valley, passed away on November 15, 2022, at home.

Born, May 4, 1943, in Poughkeepsie, he was the son of the late Arthur Vincent Floughton and Inez (Bowman) Floughton. He was predeceased by his beloved sibling, Patricia Frazier, and beloved wife, Karen (Tully) Floughton.

For the love of Cars and Coffee! Neil loved all kinds of Classic Cars and Street Rods from the era of the 30's, 40's and 50's, but most of all he loved Buicks. In Neil's heyday there wasn't a car cruise or show that you couldn't find him at, chatting with his known associates, and of course, a cup of coffee. You just didn't know what car he would show up in as he often bought, sold or traded for a different classic or street rod. The Art of the Deal was almost as important to Neil as procuring the newly obtained machinery as he relished over how he planned to customize it.

Neil is survived by his wife, Lorelei Floughton; sons, Darren (Hubba) Floughton, Scott Floughton, Robert Roma, and Dennis Roma; and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be from 2 to 5 Pm, Sunday, November 20th, at Sweet's Funeral Home, Route 9, Hyde Park.

Graveside services and burial will be at 11 AM, Monday, November 21st at Union Cemetery, 1076 Violet Ave., Hyde Park.
