Mary Eleanor Pringle, 95, of Poughkeepsie and formerly of Hyde Park, died on Friday, October 11, 2024, at The Pines at Poughkeepsie Rehabilitation & Nursing Center.

Born December 12, 1928, in Syracuse, she was the daughter of Alfred and Leanora Margia Scarchilli.

Mary worked at J.C. Penney in Poughkeepsie until her retirement.

On October 20, 1951, in St. John the Evangelist Church, Beacon, she married Kenneth Edgar Pringle. Her husband predeceased her on January 5, 1985.

Survivors include her four children, Paula Rossi, and Denis, David, and Raymond Pringle; six grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Oscar Scarchilli, and sister, Helen Fusaro.

Funeral services will be private. Mary will be buried next to her beloved husband in St. Peter's Cemetery, Poughkeepsie.

The Pringle family would like to extend special thanks to the staff at The Pines for the wonderful care they provided for Mary.
