Martin J. Engwiller, 58, of Mount Marion, New York died on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at Benedictine Hospital at Kingston, New York.

Born on April 19, 1965, in Poughkeepsie, New York, he was the son of Vincent A. Engwiller and Marie C. (Crose)Engwiller. On Saturday, April 15, 1989, in Rhinebeck, NY, he married Susan D. Turner.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Susan D. Engwiller, Mount Marion, NY, son, Tyler S. Engwiller, Port Ewen, NY, daughter, Amber Marie Engwiller, Mount Marion, NY, sister and brother-in-law, Linda M. and Doug Funk, Rhinebeck, NY, sister and brother-in-law, Joyce M. (Mark) Bolde, nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Lori Sarconi, in 2006.

Visitation will be from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 7:00PM to 9:00 PM on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at Sweet's Funeral Home, Inc., Rte. 9, Hyde Park, NY 12538. Funeral services will begin at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at Sweet's Funeral Home, Inc., 4365 Albany Post Rd., Hyde Park, NY.

Burial will follow at St. Peters Cemetery, Poughkeepsie, NY.
