Milan, NY- Marcia Wiley Griffen, 74, of Milan, New York died at Vassar Brothers Medical Center, with her family there to comfort her after a long illness, on Sunday, August 11, 2024. She was born in Gardner, MA to the late Gordon and Ruth Wiley. She married Gary W. Griffen on August 3, 1969.

Marcia graduated from Gardner High School and received an A.A. in graphic arts from Columbia-Greene Community College. She was a professional nature/wildlife photographer, who had numerous photographs published in national magazines, books and calendars. She recently wrote the book, Whitetails In Our Backyard. She also worked on many award-winning wildlife TV specials for Griffen Productions that aired on the Discovery Channel. Marcia also enjoyed gardening, sewing, playing the piano, fishing and hunting.

Marcia is survived by two daughters, Heather Cosenza and Alicia Myers and husband James, her sister Caroline Casey and husband John , two brothers Robert Wiley and wife Carolann, James Wiley, four grandchildren, Tyler Cosenza, Dana Cosenza, James Myers, Jacob Myers and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She is also predeceased by her brother Kenneth Wiley.

In keeping with her wish's, cremation has taken place.

A memorial service will be held at St. Christopher's Church in Red Hook at a future date.
