Staatsburg, NY Linda Faye Hauptman, 62, of Staatsburg, NY, passed away on Sunday, June 20, 2021 at Northern Dutchess Hospital in Rhinebeck, New York. Born on Tuesday, March 10, 1959, in Rhinebeck, NY, she was the daughter of Lee P. Myers Sr. and Margo Faye (Stickle) Kaelber. On Saturday, August 28, 1976, in Hyde Park, Linda married George H. Hauptman Sr. Who survives at home. Prior to retirement Linda worked at Conklin Corporation in Pleasant Valley, as a supervisor for over 20 years. Linda also previously volunteered with the West Clinton Fire Department as a member of their fire police. In addition to her husband, Linda is survived by her three children. Her daughter, Tammy L. Hauptman of Poughkeepsie; son, George H. Hauptman Jr. and fiancé, Tammy Bassett of Stanfordville; daughter, Laurie A. Bishop and husband Michael of Staatsburg. Linda is also survived by four siblings. Her sister, Rita Accardi and husband Rudy of Hyde Park; sister, Susan Myers and companion, Jay Marshall of Hyde Park; sister, Judith Cominsky of Hyde Park; brother, James Myers and wife, Jing of CA and sister-in-law, Rhonda Myers. She also has six grandchildren; Corey Hauptman, Nicole Storms, Brittany Hauptman, George Hauptman III, Aidan Bishop and Maleah Bishop. In addition to her parents, Linda was predeceased by her brother, Lee Myers Jr. on June 18, 2021. Private family calling hours will be held from 5 to 6:30pm, Thursday, June 24th at Sweet's Funeral Home, Rte. 9, Hyde Park. In keeping with her wishes, cremation will follow at Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery.
