Lena P. Ciarfella, 63, of Saugerties, died peacefully on July 3, 2022, at Ferncliff Nursing Home in Rhinebeck. Born March 30, 1959, in Poughkeepsie, she was the daughter of James and Joan Cobleigh Ciarfella. A waitress for many years, Lena worked at various local restaurants including the Acropolis Diner in Poughkeepsie. Survivors include her three children, Amanda Mazzuca, and husband, Russell, of Saugerties; Kyle Bautista, and longtime companion, Laura Smith, of Wappingers Falls; and Talia Bautista, of Brooklyn. She loved her grandchildren. They are Loghan, Haileyanna, and Tammilynn. She is also survived by her sister, Cindy Critchley and husband, Michael, of Clinton Corners; brother, Anthony Ciarfella and wife, Kim, of Watertown; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Kim Ciarfella; and two nieces, Jenny Critchley and Jessica Ciarfella. In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place. Graveside services and burial of her ashes will take place at 10 AM, Wednesday, July 13th at St. Mary's Cemetery, Clinton Street, Wappingers Falls.
