Obituary

It is with profound sorrow and a heavy heart that we announce the unexpected passing of Lakeisha Charmin Louder, who departed from us on August 4, 2024 at the age of 34. Lakeisha, known to family and friends as "Keisha" was a beloved mother, daughter, granddaughter, auntie, sister, and niece. Her sudden departure has left a void that words cannot fully express. She is predeceased by her dad Billy Leon Louder; brother Joseph Louder; grandmother Evelyn Faye Johnson; and grandfather Donald Smith Sr.

Lakeisha was born on September 11, 1989 in Poughkeepsie, New York. She graduated from Gaither High School in Tampa, Florida and was in her junior year of college at Southern New Hampshire University majoring in Criminal Justice.

Lakeisha was known for her humorous spirit, easy going attitude, love of fun, passion for singing, and creating vocal and instrumental music. She had a real "knack" for music and entertainment! If you needed to know the name of a song, develop a playlist, or have some laughs, she was the one to go to! Lakeisha's voice would radiate across any room! It was her way of sharing her love and innerself with us all!

Lakeisha Louder is survived by her mother, Carlissa Smith; two daughters, Khimanii Corprew and Egypt Jones. In addition, Lakeisha is survived by her sister, brother-in-law, many uncles and aunts, cousins, as well as two nephews and other loving members and close friends.

A funeral is scheduled for August 16, 2024 at Sweet's Funeral Home from 10am-12noon.
