Kevin J. Cullen, 73, a lifelong area resident died after a long and courageous battle on Thursday, June 2, 2022, at Vassar Bros. Hospital in Poughkeepsie, with his family by his side. Born, May 18, 1949, in Poughkeepsie, he was the son of the late John W. Cullen and Elizabeth M. Senk Cullen. After graduating from Roosevelt High School in 1968 and Dutchess Community College in 1970, he went on to work for Grey House Publishing as a Sales and Marketing professional for many years before his retirement. On April 16, 2010, in Hyde Park, he married the love of his life, Domenica M. Rainieri. Mrs. Rainieri survives at home. Kevin enjoyed music, travel, movies, and spending time with his family. He especially liked taking trips with his wife to Atlantic City. Along with his wife, he is survived by his sister Kathy Harlow, and husband David; two nephews Brent and Ryan; two great nephews, David and Tristan; along with several cousins. Calling hours will be from 10 AM to 11 AM on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at Sweet's Funeral Home, Route 9, Hyde Park, NY 12538 A Funeral Service will be at 11 AM at the Funeral Home.
