June Elise Weyant passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, September 6, 2023, surrounded by her family.

She was born June 19, 1939, in Beacon, NY, to Marie Ursula Grob (Weyant) and William Weyant. June is survived by her daughter, Sarah, her son in law John Fischer, her grandsons, Maximillian and Grayson Weyant, and her sisters, Marie 'Prudy' Hof and Lorraine Scofield. She is pre-deceased by her siblings William Weyant, Ada Beahan and Jerome Weyant.

June had a lifetime interest in bargain hunting, 80's/90's country music, gardening, yard saling, her friends, winning Scrabble tournaments and any argument. She tirelessly donated her time to local organizations such as John Flowers' events, coat drives, or area cat rescues. Giving to others was a way of life for June: not only donating at holidays but throughout the year, in many ways.

She was a lifelong member of St. Mark's church in Chelsea, NY, holding the position of Vestry Secretary. June was a Red Hat, a Hudson Valley Voyager and loved exploring throughout the Hudson Valley area. June retired from IBM's East Fishkill campus, making lifelong friendships.
