John T. "Jack" Montague, a resident of Hyde Park, New York, passed away peacefully at home on June 14, 2023.

Jack, the son of John and Sally Bell Montague, was born on June 7, 1934, in Beacon, New York. After graduating from Beacon High School, Jack worked at the National Biscuit Company and was later employed by the IBM Corporation until his retirement. Jack had a passion for cars, especially Cadillacs, and enjoyed trips to the Atlantic City casinos. Most importantly, he loved his family, friends and his pets.

Jack is survived by his son, Thomas Montague, his nieces, Rhonda O'Connor, Kathleen Lucy, and Sandra Reid, a nephew, Robert Mortensen, his longtime friend, Robert Vertullo, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Jack was predeceased by his only sister, Arlene Mortensen.

A graveside service will be held at Fairview Cemetery in Beacon, New York, on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at 11:00 a.m.
