Hyde Park, NY
John Michael Fitch, 71, of Hyde Park, NY, passed away on Wednesday, June 21, 2023, at home in the care and company of his loving wife Janice and family after a courageous, six-year health battle.

On September 16, 1978, at Regina Coeli Church, Hyde Park, NY, he married the love of his life, Janice A. Totten, who survives him at home.
He also leaves behind daughters and sons-in-law, Jennifer & Jon Jamaitis and Jessica & Brian Pecchia, grandchildren, Julia & Joseph Jamaitis and Emilia, Lucca & Cosmo Pecchia, all of Hyde Park, NY. John is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Susan & Richard Farrand, nephew Peter & Ana Farrand, and niece Suzanne Farrand. Aside from the glass business, John raced Triumph flat-track motorcycles and was an avid racing fan. John was a staple at Hyde Park holiday parades; you would find him in front of Coppola's restaurant watching with his children and grandchildren.
