Jamie Brian Paterson, 47, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday January 28, 2024. A lifelong resident of Hyde Park, he was born August 23, 1976, in Poughkeepsie, NY to Daniel M. Paterson and Linda J. (Steele) Paterson.

Jamie graduated from FDR High School in 1994 and then graduated from Dutchess Community College. Jamie was a longtime employee of Southern Westchester BOCES where he worked in their IT department as a Systems Engineer I.

When he was not working, Jamie enjoyed camping, bowling, and spending time with his family. Jamie ran the Juniors Bowling League at Spins Bowl in Poughkeepsie and had helped to coach his nephew's t-ball team this past spring.

Besides his mother Linda, Jamie is survived by his brother Carey Paterson and his girlfriend Kelly Stewart and his sister Jodie Wilson and her husband Brian.

Jamie is also survived by his beloved nephew, Ethan Paterson who was his best buddy. He was predeceased by his father Daniel.

In keeping with Jamie's wishes there will be no services. Cremation will take place at the convenience of the family.
