Irene Helen Hoffman (Lutz) passed away on June 17, 2025 at her home. Sissy, as she was known to her family and friends, was the daughter of the late Theodore and Irene Lutz. She was born in Brooklyn, NY on December 3, 1952 and moved to Clinton Corners, NY in 1969 with her family. Sissy graduated from Pine Plains high school in 1971 and later studied for and became an LPN in 1986. Also in 1986, Sissy married Rich Hoffman and together they enjoyed many wonderful years.

Sissy was a joy to be around. She had a great sense of humor and loved to joke around with her family. She enjoyed casino trips with her sisters and brothers and she loved listening to Kenny Rogers, Stevie Wonder and 50's and 60's oldies. Sissy also loved having Sunday dinners with her son and was well known for always bringing shrimp cocktail and her delicious stuffed mushrooms to dinners and holidays.

Sissy is survived by her beloved son Steve Robertson (Michelle) and her grandchildren Griffin and Taylor. She also leaves behind her sister and best friend Linda O'Dell, her sister Julie Boyles (Jim), and brothers Jerry Lutz (Alice) and Rob Lutz (Annie), as well as Rich Hoffman and many nieces and nephews and people who loved her. Sissy was predeceased by her parents, Theodore and Irene Lutz, her brothers Kenneth Lutz and Theodore Lutz, and her brother-in-law Jerry O'Dell.

A private service is planned in Sissy's honor.
