Holly Lynn Jenkinson, 74, of Staatsburg, New York, passed away on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, New York.

Born on December 17, 1950, in Poughkeepsie, she was the daughter of the late William and Marion Banik.

Holly dedicated her life to caring for others. She worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for many years, serving in various medical facilities before becoming a self-employed home health aide, where she continued to provide compassionate care to those in need of it.

A devoted member of Pleasant Plains Presbyterian Church, Holly was an ordained Deacon, serving as that board's treasurer, and presiding at many a coffee hour and fundraising event. She was deeply involved with the church's food pantry, always ready to lend a helping hand to others.

On June 14, 1975, Holly married John Dennis Jenkinson, who survives at home.

Holly and her husband, Dennis loved traveling together, especially to Lake George and Bolton Landing. They were proud members of the Antique and Classic Boat Society, Hudson River Chapter, and over the years enjoyed the loyal companionship of their beloved Labrador retrievers.

In addition to her husband, Holly is survived by her stepson, John William Jenkinson and his wife Michelle; her cherished grandchild, Lily Jenkinson; her sister, Heather Belmonte and husband Peter; her English Labrador, Shimmy, and many other beloved relatives and friends.

Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Heidi.

Calling hours will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at Pleasant Plains Presbyterian Church, 2 Fiddlers Bridge Road, Staatsburg, NY. A Memorial Service will follow at 11:00 AM at the church.

In keeping with her wishes cremation has taken place.

In lieu of flowers, Holly's family respectfully requests memorial donations be made to the Pleasant Plains Church Deacons Fund, 2 Fiddlers Bridge Rd. Staatsburg, NY 12580, or Tunnel to Towers Foundation, 2361 Hylan Blvd., Staten Island, NY 10306.
