Harry A. Shaw, III, 60, affectionately known as Buzzy, of Staatsburg, passed away on November 18, 2024, surrounded by loving family in the comfort of his home.

Born June 24, 1964, in Beacon, he was the son of Victoria "Vickie" Oswald and the late Harry A. Shaw Jr.

Buzzy was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. He loved four-wheeling and mud bogging. Being the sports and outdoorsman that he was, he absolutely loved camping, especially in Lake George, one of their fondest memories was taking a road trip to Disney World. Harry was known for his promptness, and it was one of his most prideful qualities.

Buzzy worked for Rockland County Psychiatric Center as a general mechanic for many years until his illness slowed him down.

On December 6, 1986, in Wappingers Falls, NY, he married the former Renee Clark. Mrs. Shaw survives at home.

He is survived by his wife, Renee Shaw; his children, Harry Shaw IV and Ashlyn Shaw; his grandchildren; Ethyn and Rhysyn; his mother, Vickie Oswald; and his siblings, Lisa, Patricia, Mary, Katie; and Siobhan.

Buzzy is also survived by his step-mother, Cathy Marazita, and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be from 4PM to 7PM on Friday, November 22, 2024 at Sweet's Funeral Home, 4365 Albany Post Rd, Hyde Park, NY. A Funeral Service will take place during the calling hours at 6PM.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation will take place following the funeral services.
