Georgianna S. Pardee, lovingly known as Sally, 89, a lifelong area resident, passed away on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at the Hudson Valley Rehabilitation and Extended Care Center in Highland.

Born on July 24, 1937, in Sharon, Connecticut, she was the daughter of the late Elias Albert McNeil and Emily G. Harris McNeil.

Sally worked as a secretary in Food Services at the Hudson River Psychiatric Center for more than 30 years before retiring. She was a dedicated member of the American Legion John Livingston Post #1466 Ladies Auxiliary and St. James' Episcopal Church in Hyde Park.

Throughout her life, Sally enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She generously gave her time volunteering at the Hyde Park Food Pantry and enjoyed attending theater performances. She also loved arts and crafts, particularly cross-stitching and ceramics. Her many interests and the time she shared with those she loved brought joy to her life and to those around her.

On January 6, 1957, Sally married Charles L. Pardee, Jr. at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Poughkeepsie. Her husband predeceased her in 2017.

Sally is survived by her two sons, Charles Pardee and his wife, Dawn, and Jeffrey Pardee and his wife, Sally, all of Hyde Park; six grandchildren, Zachary, Katrina, Kayla, Travis, Amanda, and Maygin; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Sally will be remembered for her devotion to her family, her commitment to helping others, and the many interests and friendships that enriched her life. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Calling hours will be from 4 to 7 PM, Sunday, October 25th at Sweet's Funeral Home, Rte. 9, Hyde Park.

Funeral services will be at 10 AM, Monday, October 26th at the Funeral Home. The Rev. Meredith Kadet Sanderson will officiate.

Burial will follow in the family plot at Union Cemetery of Hyde Park.
