Francis (Frank) Andrew Sause, of Hyde Park, NY died of natural causes on Saturday, June 18th,2022 in his home in Hyde Park. Frank was a proud United States Navy, full combat veteran on the USS Thompson during WW2 from 1944-1946, leaving with honorable discharge. Frank worked much of his adult life running his own business as a traveling salesman as well as in sales and broadcasting with WEOK AM Radio, in Poughkeepsie NY before owning a successful family operated pet shop for over 30 years. Frank is predeceased by parents Beatrice and Edward Sause Jr, also siblings, Edward Sause, Grace Stevenson, Elizabeth Breen, Peter Harrison Sause, Victoria McAlpine and daughter Elizabeth Sause Frank is survived by 7 living daughters; Barbara, Sue, Linda, Kathleen, Jennifer, Patricia and Diana as well as 13 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and his loving companion beagle, Abby. Frank was loved by numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and dear friends Charlie and Cathy Gallagher, Louisa Stannard and many more!! Frank had a great wit and sense of humor spirit, he will be missed and remembered by many. Extra special gratitude to Hudson Valley Hospice for all of the incredible angelic love, care and support!! Funeral Services will be on Monday June 27th, 2022 at 12 Noon at Sweets Funeral Home, Hyde Park, Rte. 9 Hyde park, NY 12538.
