Florence Ann Sutter-Murtha,63, of Hyde Park, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 27, 2022, at Westchester Medical Center, in Valhalla with her family members by her side.

Born Saturday, June 6, 1959, in Mahopac, she was the daughter of the late William W. Sutter Jr. and Edith Vallilo.

After graduating from Carmel High School Florence worked Mental Health of America of Dutchess County before becoming a Direct support Professional at Abilities First where she loved spending time with those who she helped.

Florence enjoyed painting, gardening, spending time down by the river and most of all with her family, especially with her children who she loved.

She is survived by her two children David Murtha and wife Nicole, Stephanie Ann Murtha, two grandchildren Alexandria and McKenzie.

She is also survived by her former husband Bernard Murtha, stepmother Marian Wallman Sutter; and her four siblings; twin brother James Sutter and wife Tina; Jerry Sutter, Ronald Sutter, and wife Diane; and Nancy Sutter, and many nieces nephews and cousins.

In keeping with her wishes cremation has taken place.

Arrangements are under the direction of Sweet's Funeral Home, Inc., Rte. 9, Hyde Park.
