Elenore M. Martin, 82, a longtime North Carolina resident and more recently of Hyde Park, passed away peacefully on August 31st, 2023 with her family by her side.

Elenore was born on December 15th, 1940 in Ardonia, NY.

For much of her life she lived in North Carolina surrounded by her loving pets. She especially loved taking care of her chickens and spending time with her dogs.

Elenore is predeceased by her parents Myron and Dorothy (Every) Ronk, her siblings, Angnes Dolcemascolo, Marie Ridgeway, Robert Ronk, and James Ronk

Elenore is survived by her loving and devoted sister Betty Croshier of Hyde Park, her sons Darrell and wife Pam Martin of Deluth, GA; Michael Martin of Oxford, NC; 3 grandchildren, Matthew, Jonathan, and Melissa Martin.

She is also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews, including her friend and copilot Barbie.

When you think of Ellie, raise a small glass of port wine and remember her life full of world travel and beagles, chickens and country living. Till we meet again.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation has take place, graveside services will be held at the Modena Rural Cemetery on September 23, 2023 at 11am in Modena, NY.
