Donna Ann Cacciola, 74, of Rhinebeck, New York, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at her home.

Born on May 13, 1952, in Wexford, Pennsylvania, she was the beloved daughter of the late Stanley Kraly and Dorothy Collins Kraly.

Donna was a woman of remarkable creativity, compassion, and determination. A gifted artist from an early age, she received her professional training in Fine Arts at New Mexico Highlands University, where she developed her passion for artistic expression. She later pursued another creative calling, graduating from the prestigious French Culinary Institute and becoming an accomplished pastry chef. Her exceptional talent earned her recognition as a New York Times-featured executive chef. She spent much of her time working at Seasons in Sea Cliff, New York.

Later in life, Donna embraced yet another calling by becoming a nurse. Caring for others allowed her to express the compassion, kindness, and nurturing spirit that defined who she was. Whether caring for patients, friends, or family.

Donna was a deeply spiritual woman whose faith provided strength, guidance, and comfort throughout her life.

Above all else, Donna's greatest joy was her family. She was a devoted mother who cherished the close relationships she shared with her children and took immense pride in their lives. She was an especially loving and dedicated grandmother who treasured every moment spent caring for and nurturing her beloved granddaughter, Caroline.

She is survived by her children, Frank Cacciola and Zoe Cacciola; her cherished granddaughter, Caroline Mountan; her brother, Stanley Kraly; sister in law, Dina Kraly and her lifelong friend, Florence Walsh.

In addition to her parents, Donna was predeceased by her brother, Eric Kraly, and her sister, Janet Kraly.
