He served with honor and distinction, earning the respect and admiration of both colleagues and those in the community, holding many positions including Sergeant, Lieutenant, Captain and retiring as acting Chief. Beyond his professional achievements, Donald was an active member of the Blue Knights Motorcycle Club, where he combined his love for motorcycles with his passion for camaraderie and community service. Besides his work, Donald loved to spend time with his family, taking trips with his late wife Linda, often traveling to the Smokey Mountains in Tennessee, where they would enjoy each other's company and find new paintings to add to their collection.
