Deborah Roraback, RN, 70, of Poughkeepsie, formerly of Rochester, New York passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 23, 2022, with her family by her side.

Born, August 28, 1952, in Potsdam, she was the daughter of the late Richard E. Jackson and Helen Ingraham.

After graduating from High School, Deborah went on to graduate from The Community College of the Finger Lakes, where she completed her nursing degree to become a Registered Nurse.

Deborah worked for Dutchess County BOCES as a Registered Nurse Teacher for many years before her retirement in 2014, impacting many people and leaving a lasting impression on many of her students and colleagues.

Deborah loved being by water and enjoyed camping in various locations that had a beach or a lake nearby, especially Camp Waubeeka. She enjoyed swimming, boating and being with her friends and most of all gatherings with her children and grandchildren.

Deborah is survived by her husband, Robert Roraback; two children Ryan Roraback and wife Gwendolyn, and Emily Roraback, and two grandchildren Chase and James Roraback.

She is also survived by her brother-in-law Alan Roraback.

In keeping with her wishes cremation has taken place.

Memorial calling hours will be on Wednesday November 30th from 3 to 5pm, at Sweet's Funeral Home, 4365 Albany Post Rd. Hyde Park, NY 12538.

A memorial service will take place at 4:45pm at the funeral home with Rev. Jeffery Koenig officiating.
