Dawn E. Lemos, 85, of Hyde Park, died on Thursday, December 8, 2022, at Mid-Hudson Regional Hospital of Westchester Medical Center in Poughkeepsie.

Born, July 12, 1937, in Poughkeepsie, she was the daughter of the late Chester "Jimmy" and Marie Plass Wagner.

After graduating high school Dawn went to work for Vassar College for many years in the food service department, before retiring. Dawn also was a proud owner of EZ Cleaning company, where she took pride in her work.

In her free time Dawn enjoyed going to family gatherings, car races, and the movies, but especially loved going to play bingo whenever she could.

Dawn is survived by her sister Jean McArthur and husband Yancy; brother- in- law LeRoy Kilmer Sr.; her niece, Tammy Hoffman, along with many nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents she was also predeceased by her siblings, Albert "Al" Wagner, Thomas Wagner, Helen Kilmer, Kathy Simmons, Barbara Day, Gail Funk, Rose Funk, Linda Plass, and Joan Edmonds.

Calling hours will be from 6 Pm to 8 Pm, on Sunday, December 11, 2022, at Sweet's Funeral Home, 4365 Albany Post Rd., Hyde Park, NY 12538.

In keeping with her wishes cremation will follow and burial of her cremains will take place in the spring at the convenience of the family.
