Darla Sue Erts Bodo was laid to eternal rest on June 11, 2021. She was born in Poughkeepsie, NY to Ardelle and Reginald Erts on November 15, 1942. She was a life-long resident of Hyde Park, attended Hyde Park Schools and graduated Roosevelt High School, class of 1960. She attended Dutchess Community College and worked as an accountant for many years as her career. She will be remembered as a loving mother, Nana, daughter, sister, friend, and woman, always dedicated to her family, as well as a continued source of love, faith, and optimism for her entire circle of extended family and friends. She always made time for others and will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She felt that her greatest accomplishment, as well as her greatest joy in life, were her children and her grandchildren, and the time she was able to spend with them.   She is survived by her three children, son John Bodo and his wife Tracey Bodo of Hyde Park, NY, son Jeff-Dana Bodo of Hyde Park NY, and daughter Deena-Lynn Bare and her husband Aaron Bare of Raleigh, NC, three granddaughters, Taylor Ann Bodo, Emma Caroline Bodo, Anna Jean Bare, and grandson Elijah Kennan Bare. Darla is also survived by her sister Patricia Conrad of Hyde Park, NY and brother Bruce and wife Anne Erts of Portland OR, along with four nephews, Brian Erts, Steven Erts, Kevin Conrad, Scott Conrad, two nieces, Leslie Reany and Jennifer Erts.
