LaGrange Daniel Paul Weglinski, 40, of LaGrange, NY, died on Sunday, August 21, 2022, in his home. Born October 12, 1981, in Ithaca, NY, he was the son of Paul and Sally (Toomey) Weglinski. He was a 1999 graduate of F.D. Roosevelt High School, Hyde Park. He went on to RIT and received both his Bachelor's degree in 2003 and MBA in 2004. At the time of his passing, Dan worked for PepsiCo, Purchase, NY, as a Senior IT Manager for Global Finance and Corporate Functions. On July 11, 2010, he married the love of his life, Courtney Kretz, at St. Martin of Tours Church, Amityville, NY. They built a loving home in LaGrange and had three beautiful children, Archer, Jemma and Deacon. Dan loved baseball and was an avid Yankee fan. He played for Hyde Park Little League, FDR, and RIT. He relished his new role of coaching his children. He enjoyed the beach, seafood and barbeque. Surviving are Dan's wife and their children, his parents, two brothers, Michael and Sarah Baird-Weglinski, Hicksville and Paul (PJ) Weglinski, Hyde Park, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and his large Kretz family. Dan was predeceased by Jake, whose organ donation provided Dan nearly six more years of "living the dream". In accordance with Dan's wishes, cremation has taken place. Relatives and friends may call on Sunday, August 28, 2022, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, at Sweet's Funeral Home, Rte. 9, Hyde Park. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, August 29, 2022, at 10:00 AM at Regina Coeli Church, Rte. 9, Hyde Park. Dan requests everyone to register to be an organ donor.
