Daniel B. Hunt, 63, of Hyde Park, New York died unexpectedly on Monday, August 19, 2024, at his home in Hyde Park.

Born, August 14, 1961, in Rhinebeck, he was the son of the late William Hunt and Harriett Miller Hunt.

After graduating high school, Daniel went on to work for STAT Construction, working as a truck driver for over 39 years, truly enjoying his job and those he worked with.

Daniel enjoyed hunting and fishing, trips up north to the Adirondacks, collecting cowboy boots, and was a avid gun collector. He was also a life member of the Crum Elbow Sportsmen club and enjoyed being at every family event he could attend.

He is survived by his two brothers William B. Hunt and wife Kathleen, and David Hunt.

He Is also survived by his nephews, David C. Hunt Jr., Brian T. Hunt, and William C. Hunt; and several grand nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents he was predeceased by his two nephews Stephan Hunt and Stewart Hunt.

A memorial service will be on Friday August 30th at 1pm at Union Cemetery of Hyde Park, 1076 Violet Ave. Hyde Park, NY 12538.
