Chynna Lee Morse Johnson,31,a lifelong area resident, passed away unexpectedly on February 5,2024.

On November 13,1992, in Poughkeepsie, New York, Chynna was born to Joseph Lee Morse and Dayna Marie Farmer.

Chynna was a beautiful and very loving child. She cherished family members and friends, always wanting to be a fun part of their lives. Her sweet personality won the hearts of everyone who was blessed to know her. She was known as "Chy-Chy" or "Chin" by family and close friends. She had a love of music and received rewards for her musical abilities during her school years .Chynna was a natural at drawing freehand and creating artwork.

She had made some beautiful pictures during her time here on earth.

Chynna is survived by her husband, Richard Johnson, Jr.; her two sons Ethan J. Kaelin and Messiah R. S. Johnson of whom she was very proud; her mother and stepfather Dayna and Daniel Kaelin; her father, Joseph Morse; her sister, Samantha Morse; her two nieces, Serenity and Gabriella; her paternal grandmother, Marilyn Morse; her three aunts, Kelly Farmer Cromwell (Jim), Billie Jo Morse Jenkins(Henry) and Crystal Morse Lauria (Maurice);her three uncles, Jody Farmer(Gail), Lance Farmer (Corrine) and Nakia Morse. Several cousins also survive her.

Chynna was predeceased in death by her paternal grandfather, Lee Morse; her maternal grandmother, Barbara Farmer; her maternal grandfather, George Farmer and her son Ethan's father Nicholas Flannery.

Cremation has taken place.

Memorial calling hours will be from 4-7 pm on Tuesday, February 20 at Sweets Funeral Home, Route 9, Hyde Park.

In lieu of flowers, Chynna's family requests donations be made to a fund to benefit Chynna's children. Cash or checks made out to Dayna Kaelin will be accepted during the calling hours, or mailed to Dayna Kaelin c/o Sweets Funeral Home, 4365 Albany Post Rd. 12538.
