It is with heavy hearts that the family of Christina Maziarz (Simon) share the news of her passing. On December 19, 2025 in Poughkeepsie, New York, surrounded by those she loved, Christina went peacefully into eternal rest.

Christina was born on August 23, 1950 in New Haven Connecticut and is a 1968 graduate of Lyman Hall High School in Wallingford Connecticut. She held many jobs in life until her retirement in 2017 from Bank of America. Upon retirement, she relocated to the Hudson Valley from Arizona to be close to her daughters and grandchildren.

Her interests were as diverse as they were heartfelt. She loved to craft and was an amazing cook and baker. She was creative and had an eye for decorating the home. She was an animal lover who never had less than two in the home and rescued several dogs over the years. Christina's greatest joy though, was being a mother and grandmother. A devoted and natural nurturer, Christina was always active in her daughter's lives. She was a Girl Scout leader, involved in school activities and hosted the best birthday parties complete with impeccably decorated homemade cakes.

Christina is survived by her daughters Alora and Sara and her grandchildren Glen, Logan, Alyson and Nathan. She was predeceased by her beloved parents, John and Pearl and her grandson Anthony.

While Christina may have left this earthy realm too soon, her memory will live on, in the hearts of those she loved most.
