Camryn Alexander Remsburger, 3, of Hyde Park, died unexpectedly on Sunday, July 18, 2021, at the Mid-Hudson Regional Hospital in Poughkeepsie.
Born July 14, 2018, in New York City, he was the son of Zachary M. Remsburger and Kristina M. Van Steenburgh. His parents survive at home.
Born with a congenital brain disorder, Camryn was a miracle. He did more than the doctors ever thought he would. They said he would never walk, and not only did he walk, but he also danced!
Camryn was a special young man. He was smart and warmed every heart he touched. He loved everyone he met, he treated no one like a stranger.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his big sister, Azriella P. Van Steenburgh, and his baby sister (on the way), Liliana Alexandra, (he often referred to her as "his baby").
Also surviving are his maternal grandparents, Stanley and Shirley Van Steenburgh of Hyde Park; paternal grandparents, Kim and Karl Sundblom of Staatsburg; paternal great-grandmother, Della Howley of Queensbury; uncle and aunt, Jeffrey and Sistine Van Steenburgh, of Staatsburg; aunt, Tanya Van Steenburgh, of Hyde Park; uncle, Jake Remsburger, of Staatsburg; uncle and aunt, Ryan and Nicole Sundblom, of Buchanan; uncle and aunt, Kyle and Kerrie Sundblom, of Newburgh; aunt, Caitlin Sundblom, of Millbrook; and many cousins and extended family.
