Hyde Park, NY Beverly J. Burgi, 77, of Hyde Park, NY, passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2022, at home, in the care and company of her loving daughter Christine and niece Shelly. Born on July 9, 1945, in Afton, NY, she was the daughter of Isaac "Ike" and Mary Moore Dauley. On May 13, 1967, she married Frank Burgi, the love of her life, in Pleasant Valley. Her husband Frank was by her side throughout their loving 54 years of marriage. Frank passed away on September 25, 2021. Beverly enjoyed motorcycle rides with Frank, tending to her flower garden, reading and jigsaw puzzles. Her pride and joy was her grandson, Ryan. Beverly will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Her absence will be felt year-round, but especially during the family gatherings which will be bereft of her stories and warm presence. She retired from the Hudson River Psychiatric Center in 2007, where she was a secretary for many years. Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Christine and Gary Flinn and her beloved grandson, Ryan Flinn, all of Clinton Corners, NY, brother and sister-in-laws, James and Donna Dauley, of Virginia; David and Pam Dauley, of Rhinebeck, NY and Steven and Mary Ann Dauley, of Elizaville, NY, Aunt Millie Moore and her partner Wilma Jones of Averill Park, NY. Calling hours will be from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, on Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at Sweet's Funeral Home, Inc., 4365 Albany Post Rd., Hyde Park, NY. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at the funeral home. She will be loving laid to rest next to her husband, Frank, at Wappingers Rural Cemetery.
