Betty Jane Nowik, 92, of Poughkeepsie died peacefully on November 24, 2021, at the Renaissance Rehabilitation and Nursing Care Center in Staatsburg.       Born December 20, 1928 in Atlanta, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Alton and Minnie May (Whitten) Aaron.      On February 22, 1948 in Poughkeepsie, she married Leo Nowik. Her husband predeceased her in 1986.     A homemaker, Betty is survived by her two children, Bonnie Pieschel and husband Don of Gresham, Oregon, and Leo  Nowik and wife, Kathy, of Poughkeepsie; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.         In keeping with her wishes, there will be no services.
