Benito Ugricich, Sr.,88, of Poughkeepsie, New York died on Friday, January 3, 2025, at home with his family by his side.

Born, December 1, 1936, in Trieste, Croatia, he was the son of the late Matteo and Maria Ugricich.

After immigrating to the United States Benito went on to work for the Excavators Union Local 731 as a Laborer for many years until his retirement in 1979.

Benito Married Adele Villare on June 6th, Adele passed away on May 27th, 2020. They shared over 60 years together.

Benito enjoyed hunting and fishing, he was a life member of the Crum Elbow Sportsmen's Club and a life member of the NRA.

He is survived by his son Benito Ugricich Jr. and wife Sue; two sisters Emma Blascovich (his twin) of Florida, and Valeria Belich of Long Island.

Burial will take place privately at St. Peter's Cemetery, Poughkeepsie, NY.
