AnnMarie Welsh, 34, of Poughkeepsie, died on Tuesday, January 3, 2023.

Born on Sunday, January 24, 1988, in Poughkeepsie, NY, she was the daughter of Therese Welsh Kilmer and Nicholas Fortuso.

At the time of her death, AnnMarie was working Stop & Shop, Poughkeepsie, as a baker. AnnMarie was an advocate for cat rescue.  She had a love for nature and enjoyed the outdoors.

Surviving are her son, Rocco Fortuso, mother, Therese Kilmer, father, Nicholas Fortuso, and step-father, Leroy Kilmer, all of Poughkeepsie. Also surviving are a niece, Addyson Alfonso, MO, and many aunts, uncles & cousins.

Ann Marie was predeceased by her sister, Colleen Alfonso.

At the request of the family, services and burial are private.
