Andrew Szymkowicz, 65, died on Wednesday, October 27th 2021, at home.   He was born September 22, 1956, in Englewood, NJ to John and Lilia Szymkowicz.  In addition to his parents, Andrew was predeceased by his sister, Beebe Ammiano, his brother, Stephan Szymkowicz, and his beloved niece, Stephanie Daily.  Andrew is survived by his wife, Ellen Edwards; daughter, Ashley Whittaker; son-in-law, Nicholas Whittaker, Jr.; beloved grandchildren, Nicholas, Owen and Lincoln; brother, John Szymkowicz; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.  Andrew owned his own business, H & S Process with his partner, Charles Howes, in Poughkeepsie for 26 years.  When he wasn't working, he enjoyed spending time with his dogs, watching a good Yankees game, and rooting for the Jets, who almost always disappointed him.   In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place. In lieu of funeral services, we hope you remember Andrew for who he was. He loved his family, was always on the go, and could always make you laugh.
