Obituary for Patricia Barcia

Staatsburg - Patricia Ann Barcia, 71, of Staatsburg, died on Sunday, September 29, 2019, at the Renaissance Rehab. & Nursing Care Center.
      Born on August 24, 1948 in the Bronx, she was the daughter of the late Philip and Evelyn Santaguida Rendine.
      After graduating from high school in 1966, Pat went straight into the workforce. She worked various jobs, until after nearly 30 years, decided to pursue higher education. 
     She went on to receive her Associates Degree from Dutchess Community College. It was a proud moment, and a testament to her hard work ethic and unwavering commitment.
      For the final part of her work career, she worked as an Assistant Office Manager for Hollywood Windows in Poughkeepsie. She remained a loyal, hardworking employee, and was well liked by her colleagues.
      On January 9, 1978 in Brick, NJ, she married Angelo Barcia Jr. Mr. Barcia survives at home.
      In addition to her husband, she is survived by her three loving sons, Angelo J. Barcia and wife, Kari, Philip M. Barcia and girlfriend Desarae Paganelli and Brian A. Barcia and girlfriend, Victoria Zuccaretti, all of Poughkeepsie; devoted daughter, Julie A. McNeal, and husband, Donald, of Wappingers Falls; two beautiful grandchildren, Olivia and Angelina Barcia; loving brother, Michael A. Rendine, and wife, Lynn, of Yorktown Heights; and nephew / godson, Vincent M. Rendine.
      Patricia was a selfless, devoted, loving mother and grandmother. She always made sure her children and grandchildren were well taken care of, even if it meant at times that she would have to sacrifice necessities for herself.
       She is loved deeply and will be missed tremendously.
       In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place.
       Memorial calling hours will be from 4 to 6:30 pm, Saturday October 5th at Sweetʼs Funeral Home, Rte. 9, Hyde Park.
       A memorial service will conclude the visitation at 6:30 pm at the Funeral Home.
       In lieu of flowers, Patricia's family respectfully requests memorial donations to the Disabled American Veterans, PO Box 1430, Cincinnati, OH 45250. (www.dav.org)
