James Welsh, 73, of Rhinebeck, died on Wednesday, January 1, 2014, at Ferncliff Nursing Home, Rhinebeck. Born January 16, 1940 in Mt. Vernon, he was the son of the late Clarence and Gladys Cooper Welsh. He proudly served in the United States Air Force, and was a self-employed for many years in sales and former owner of Northeast Restaurant Supplies. Mr. Welsh is survived by his wife, Lorraine T. Welsh; five children, seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
