Staatsburg Charles ?Bud Campion, a lifelong Staatsburg area resident, died on Saturday, March 15, 2008, peacefully at The Baptist Home, Rhinebeck, amongst friends and family. He is survived by his daughters, Diane Campion of Albany, and Denise Rega-Sanchez of Modena; two grandchildren, Caitlin and Michael; and a great grandson, Anthony. He is also survived by two sisters, Mary Hanaburgh, and Lulu Turner; and his wonderful and caring friends, Alexine and Ed Markowski. Bud was a lover of hunting and all things nature. He imparted a love of the outdoors that lives on in his daughters, Diane and Denise. He was a Life Member, and loyal volunteer of the West Clinton Fire Department. There are no calling hours. In accordance with Buds wishes, cremation will take place at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations may be made to The Baptist Home, 46 Brookemeade Drive, Rhinebeck, NY 12572.
